Vertical and superbad do super good

Officially launched on Juneteenth 2020, ByeCOVID is a new healthcare effort that aims to be the Red Cross for black/brown lives by taking on inequalities in healthcare. Team superbad and Vertical Companies are excited to be helping to make an important impact on underserved communities through sponsorship and volunteer hours. The organization is targeting three main issues:

-Testing for COVID-19 is being made more readily available with test results available in 3-7 minutes with a 97% accuracy rating.

-Care packages filled with essential items such as personal protective equipment

-Deliver mobile testing and general healthcare with pop up byeCOVID events

Not only is the event a chance for underserved people to get access to essential medical and personal equipment, but it’s also a chance to honor those communities which have fought so hard to just keep their health and mental well being on a daily basis even before the pandemic. Through recognition and relief, we can help build up communities all around, one pop up event at a time.

There will be various items and event installations that are available to sponsor making byeCOVID a more wholesome experience.

ByeCOVID will be a traveling event occurring in select cities with large black/brown communities, so the October 17th event is our chance to make a difference locally in the Southern California area.

The ByeCOVID healthcare protocol event with superbad takes place on October 17th although the whole program is ongoing. The hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Love & Unity Church. 1840 S Wilmington Ave, Compton, CA 90220.
